My mother got my name from a soap opera. In fact, every Kayla I know born in the 80’s says her mother also got her name from…Days Of Our Lives. I agree a name needs to sound good on a child and adult. I feel sorry for my sister, Katelynn, when she’s 30’s and 40’s…she is going to sound like a 5-year old. BUT there are so many Katelynn’s in her age group, it may become norm. /shrug.
