Madeline was my great aunt’s name and she was a HUGE part of my life. I wanted to honor her. It meets most of your criteria EXCEPT it is a top 100 name, and worse Maddie is hugely popular because of all the little Madisons running around. She may hate me later. Samuel was Preston’s grandfather’s name. It is also a pretty popular name, but there is way less diversity in boy’s names. He’ll know 20 Matts, 15 Maxes, and about 3 million Zachs, so I think he’ll be okay with knowing a few dozen other Sams.
you should be warned that Tracy may not return Maddie this weekend. She may end up in Atlanta. She’ll be totally safe though if it happens you can visit her!
and I love this. We loved Madison for a while but yeah, I don’t want her to be Maddie H. at school. Madeline is such a pretty name. So girly and lovely. And Samuel is being incorporated into our boy name!
